The Emerald Isle and All things GREEN!

Getting out your green socks, shirts, and sparkles? Why not on this infamous day of green focus on EATING GREEN! This morning I’m kicking off my day with a zingy green drink I know my system will thank me for later. I don’t have a fancy juicer but I didn’t let that stop me! All I did was whizz some awesome detoxifying ingredients together with my hand blender and then strain the pulp out (I’m keeping it for some sort of future experiment!) Here’s the list:

Emerald Isle

1 c water
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1″ chunk of fresh ginger, chopped
3″ chunk of cucumber, chopped
2 stalks of celery
handful of parsley
1 mason jar, 1 sieve, and 1 body saying YEAH!!!

Cheers to the McM clan who are celebrating 100 years in Canada as of this March! And cheers to that beautiful isle from which we came!
