Chocolate Saves the Day, again.

What do you do when you are so grumpy you can’t even stand yourself? Ladies, despite our best efforts, we all get moody sometimes.  Irritated, frustrated, restless, exhausted…you know what I’m talking about.

Well, I’ve got the perfect tonic. A yummy and good for you pick-me-up that’s easy as pie (sorry, it’s not pie). When I’m down in the dumps I enlist in the power of RAW CACAO and a little honey. You’ll get a kick of energy, a dose of calming magnesium and loads of antioxidants to boot! Heck, you’ll even get a healthy serving of fiber. Did I mention this drink is chocolatey??


1 mug full of almond milk (or milk beverage of choice)
1-2 heaping tsp of raw cacao powder
1/2 – 1 tsp raw honey (or to taste)

Heat milk in saucepan. Add hot milk to cacao and honey in cup and stir. Sip and feel the happy coming back! For added effect crank up the tunes and dance, dance, dance!

This drink can also be made cold – I recommend using a blender.
